Main purpose of the job	- To administer, organize and supervises all activities of the Static Plant mechanical section to ensure maximum availability of the - Corporation static plants in a good state of maintenance and at economic costs. - Key result areas: - Develop appropriate maintenance strategy for all electro- mechanical equipment. - Supervise the implementation of a planned maintenance scheme for all static plants. - Ensure proper documentation of all works/tasks undertaken. - Respond quickly to all electro-mechanical breakdowns in the plants. - Actively participate in multi-disciplinary team activities. - Carry out Bi-annual condition Assessment of Electro-mechanical equipment and professionally and advise on the need interventions. - Provide leadership and Technical backup to the maintenance section on all assigned tasks. - Prepare sectional monthly and situation specific reports - Develop appropriate maintenance strategy for all electro-mechanical equipment. - Ensure safety of staff and equipments in their sections.
Requirement:	- Bsc. Mechanical Engineering. - The candidate must have at least 2 years hands on experience in plant maintenance in either water industry or similar setting. - The candidate must also be computer literate.
Personal attributes:	- Should possess high levels of initiative, commitment to work, ability to meet tight deadlines. - Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and identify solutions to problems. - Should be good team player highly motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision. - Ability to train and mentor others. Age below 35 years.
